Murugan Pugalenthi has 14 years in FMCG/ Manufacturing and High-Technology sectors, currently operating as Director for global planning excellence – in this role he is responsible for global supply chain planning process development, planning technology adoption, capability building and global supply chain analytics in Johnson & Johnson consumers.
Prior to this, he was playing the role of General Manager for the New products development at Johnson and Johnson consumer Ltd.
Before that, He has worked as Analytics leader – Operations with Dell and he has experiences with Cadbury and Marico.
He has taken the Dell Inc to the prestigious Franz Edelman Awards in the year 2013. This award consider to be Oscars in the space of advanced analytics.
Received Edelman Laureate award, the global apex award in analytics from INFORMS for the nomination “Dell’s channel transformation thru’ application of advanced analytics ” for the work done by his team.
Contributed to 10 plus research papers and publications. Done his PGDIE from NITIE. He is a batch topper both in NITIE and university topper in under graduation. Received best outgoing student award at NITIE.
